7.0 quake hits Haiti; could be ‘catastrophe,’ official saysJanuary 12, 2010 — Updated 2343 GMT

(CNN) — A major earthquake struck southern Haiti on Tuesday, knocking down buildings and inflicting a catastrophe on the impoverished Caribbean nation, its ambassador to the United States said.

——————- This is just the beginning. I felt something like this would happen this week and I feel there will be another tragic World event by month’s end. ——————–

UPDATE:  Hard to tell what is a tragic world event anymore…our minds are so used to headlines like these now. What once shocked us, now just seems like a distant noise which we cannot truly make out. Although, I feel strong about these, I feel a harder-felt event coming on, by the 29th of this month seems to say something to me.
